普段でもランニング時でも、トレイルでもロードでも、ほどよくフィットするTシャツの企画をしました。

TANNUKIとしてはやはりどうしてもシリアスになりすぎる細身のシルエットは避けたいところ。普段の生活の延長線上で着てもらいたいという思いがあります。そこで開発したのが今回の超ちょうど良いチェスカTとなります。決して細みではなく、しっかりとゆとりがあります。街でのどんなシーンとも馴染みが良く、一方でバランスの良い分量感でランニングザックとの相性も悪くありません。

生地は軽さもありストレッチ性もある吸水速乾素材ですが、敢えてやや厚みのある素材をチョイスしました。その風合いからスポーツウェアらしい匂いが極力抑えられていますが、しっかりとアクティビティに使用できる機能性を発揮します。
タッチは上品なコットンTシャツに近しいポリエステル素材です。

どんな場面でも着用いただける究極の汎用性を持つウェア、それがチェスカTのコンセプトです。

－デザイン
超丁度良いというのはどんなフィットのTシャツなのか。今回もランニングウェアからカジュアルウェアまで多くのTシャツのサイズを採寸し、実際に着用し、フィット感を決めていきました。最終的に行きついたのが、Mサイズで胸囲114ｃｍ、裾囲114ｃｍのボックスシルエットです。ちなみに参考にした他のブランドのTシャツですが、ナイキのドライフィットTで胸囲が97ｃｍ、ユニクロのエアリズムはやや大きく102ｃｍ、ＴＡＮＮＵＫＩでは細身の部類に入るアローＴは105ｃｍとなっています。一方でＴＡＮＮＵＫＩのビッグＴの胸囲は120ｃｍを超える寸法となっており、かなりの幅があることがわかります。そんな中で今回の114ｃｍボックスシルエットは、スポーツウェア感を醸し出すことなく、一方でバタつきを押さえてランニングザックとの相性も良い、とてもバランスの良いシルエットとなっています。

デザインは非常にシンプルです。カジュアルウェアのTシャツで良く使われるような襟元のステッチワークで雰囲気を作ります。ロゴはかなり控えめに中央の右サイドに配置され、シンプルなTシャツとして、コーディネートがし易いです。左裾にはTANNUKIの一つの特徴でもあるポケットが付き、中には３匹のタヌキが潜んでいます。

タックインしてもタックアウトしても良い感じのバランスとなっています。


－素材
東レのプライムフレックス糸で編まれた、軽量性とストレッチ性を両立する高機能素材です。またポリエステルが本来持つ耐摩擦性を発揮するとともに、紡績をしていないフィラメント糸(長繊維)を使用しているため毛玉になりにくい性質を持ちます。物質としての安定性も高く、洗濯後でも縮みにくいです。

多機能を併せ持つ高機能素材でありながら、表にその機能感を出さないさりげなさがもう一つの特徴です。上質なコットンを思わせる滑らかなタッチと風合いは、例えばテーラードジャケットなんかにもマッチるような佇まいです。ぜひ日中は仕事場で過ごして夜のランニングにそのまま使ってもらえたらと思います。

We designed a T-shirt that fits just right, whether you're wearing it for everyday wear, running, on the trail, or on the road.

At TANNUKI, we want to avoid slim silhouettes that look too serious. We want our products to be worn as an extension of everyday life. That's why we previously developed an oversized T-shirt, which has been extremely well-received since its release, thanks to the relaxed feel of the relaxed silhouette and the fun feeling it provides when running (and of course, we'd like to continue making them in the future). However, one weakness is that it sometimes doesn't work well with running packs (the amount of fabric is so large that it gets bunched up at the sides, which could be considered a cute silhouette in its own way, and in fact, some runners actually like it that way though...).

Then we developed this ultra-just-right Cheska T. It's not slim but has plenty of room. It fits in well with any scene in the city, and its well-balanced volume makes it a good match with a running pack.

The fabric is lightweight, stretchy, and quick dry, and we purposefully chose a slightly thicker material (but lightweight). Its texture minimizes the typical sportswear feeling while still providing ample functionality for activities.
The polyester material feels like a refined cotton T-shirt.

- Design
What kind of fit is the perfect T-shirt? This time, we measured and tried on a variety of T-shirts, from running wear to casual wear, to determine the perfect fit. We ultimately settled on a boxy silhouette with a chest circumference of 114cm and a hem circumference of 114cm in size M. Among the T-shirts used as references from other brands, the Nike DriFit T has a chest circumference of 97cm, the Uniqlo Airism is slightly larger 102cm, and the TANNUKI Arrow T, which is considered slim in our lineup, is 105cm. On the other hand, the TANNUKI Big T has a chest circumference of over 120cm, showing a considerable range. The 114cm boxy silhouette in this shirt is well-balanced, without giving off an athletic feel, while also minimizing flapping and pairing well with a running pack.

The design is very simple. The stitching around the collar, commonly found on casual T-shirts, creates a stylish look. The logo is placed quite discreetly on the right side of the center, making it easy to coordinate as a simple T-shirt. There's a pocket on the left hem, a feature of TANNUKI, with three raccoons hiding inside.

The balance is perfect whether tucked in or out.


-Material
This high-performance material, knitted with Toray Primeflex yarn, combines lightweight and stretchy properties. It also exhibits the inherent abrasion resistance of polyester, while the use of unspun filament yarn (long fibers) makes it resistant to pilling. Its physical stability is also high, preventing shrinkage after washing.

While this is a highly functional material with multiple functions, another distinctive feature is its understated design, which doesn't reveal its functionality on the surface. Its smooth touch and texture, reminiscent of high-quality cotton, make it a perfect match for a tailored jacket, for example. We hope you'll wear it at work during the day and then wear it for your evening runs.
