パーゴワークス【RUSH10】のTANNUKIオリジナルカラー（カプチーノブラウン）です。

シンプルでベーシックなモデルをベースに、TANNUKIのラインナップのなかでも特に人気のカプチーノブラウンで染めあげたランニング用ザックになります。ブラウンのランザック、市場になかなかありません。山にも街にも馴染むとてもシックな色合いと思っています。
前後にプリントされた製品名がTANNUKIのオリジナルフォントであしらわれているものポイントです。


ーなれそめ
トレイルランニング用のザックは簡単に作れるものではありません。TANNUKIにはウェアや小物作りのノウハウは蓄積されていますが、トレラン用のザックとなるとやはり別のはなし。以前から、トータルでコーディネートしたいと考えるとラインナップにほしいと思っていましたが、やはり簡単に作れるものではないという状況でした。そんな時に思い浮かんだのが日本のアウトドアブランドの【パーゴワークス】さんでした。私自身、いくつか同ブランドのザックを使用しており、その作り込みの良さを理解していました。また日本のブランドであるという点、モノづくりへの真摯な姿勢という部分にも勝手に共感を持っており、そんなことから「パーゴさんがTANNUKI用のザックを作ってくれたら」という思いを持つようになりました。

パーゴワークス代表の斎藤さんとスタッフの新藤さんには、チキンハートランニングチームのグループランニングでご挨拶をしたことがありました。そこで、自分自身がパーゴワークス製品の愛用者であるということ、TANNUKIカラーのカプチーノブラウンのザックがあったら喜んでくれる人もたくさんいると思う、などということを伝えてみました。まずは話を聞いてくれるということになり、パーゴさんのオフィスを訪問し、モノづくりのプロセスなどを改めてお伺いすることができました。その際に説明していただいた試作品の多さに驚愕したことを覚えています。そこから、パーゴさんが主催するキャンプイベントに参加したり、グループランニングでご一緒するなどして、お互いの思いをすり合わせていきました。

そしてこの度、最初の構想から２年以上の月日が経ち、ついにコラボレーションアイテムとして【RUSH10】のTANNUKIオリジナルカラーを発売することとなりました。


ーデザイン
オリジナルのRUSH１０と完全に同型ですが、とにかく丸っこくてかわいらしいフォルムです。あたかも丸くなったタヌキを背負っているような、そんな気さえしてきます。それと、正面から見ると、TANNUKIブランドのUのフォント文字になんとなく似ている感じもします。このためにデザインしてくれたのではと錯覚するほどです。

あとは先にも書きましたが、ベース部分がブラウンで統一されています。やはりランニングザックはブラックやグレー系が多く、カラーがあったとしてもブルー系やレッド系などが多いように思います。シックなブラウンは落ち着いたコーディネートとの相性がとても良いです。またTANNUKIのオリジナルフォントがアクセントを加えています。
向かって右側にはいつも通りパーゴワークスさんのピスネームが付いていますが、左側にはタヌキシルエットのTANNUKIピスネームが付属され、ひっそりと主張をしています。

ザックとしてのデザインには、多数の試作品に裏打ちされたパーゴワークスさんの技術がふんだんに盛り込まれています。シンプルで合わせやすく、ランニング用ザックとしての使いやすさにこだわったデザインとなっています。パーゴワークスさんが言うキーワードは「シンプル＆フレンドリー」、ここもTANNUKIとの相性もとても良い部分と思っています。

さまざまな体型のランナーにフィットするように設計された無段階調整式ショルダーハーネス。肩に優しいフォーム入りです。

＞　チェストストラップ
上下2本のチェストストラップがパックとの一体感を高めます。緊急用にホイッスル付きのバックルを採用しています。

＞　ボトルポケット
ハーネスの上段には500ccのペットボトルが収納できるポケットがあり、ドローコードによりボトルをホールドできます。

＞　スナックポケット
下段にはドローコード付きのポケットがあり、行動食やジェル、スマホの収納に適しています。

＞　メインアクセルス
大きく開きパッキングしやすい開口部。荷物の取り出しも容易にできます。

This is the original TANNUKI color (cappuccino brown) of Paago Works [RUSH10].

A running backpack based on a simple and basic model, dyed in cappuccino brown, which is the TANNUKI’s signature color. Brown running backpacks are not easy to find on the market. It's a very chic color that fits in both the mountains and the city.
The product name printed on the front and back is in TANNUKI's original font.

-How we met
A backpack for trail running is not easy to develop. TANNUKI has accumulated know-how in making clothing and accessories, but when it comes to a backpack for trail running, it's a different story. We've always wanted one in the lineup when we wanted to coordinate a total outfit, but it wasn't easy to make. At that time, the Japanese outdoor brand [Paago Works] came to mind. We have used several backpacks from the brand and understood the quality of their construction. We also sympathize with the fact that it is a Japanese brand and their sincere attitude towards manufacturing, and because of this, we began to think, "It would be great if Paago Works made a backpack for TANNUKI."

Then we had met Mr. Saito, the president of Paago Works, and Ms. Shindo, a staff member, at a group run with a local running team. There, we told them that we are a big fan of Paago Works products, and that we think many people would be happy if there was a backpack in TANNUKI's cappuccino brown color. They agreed to listen to my story, so we visited their office and was able to ask them about the manufacturing process again. we remember being amazed at the number of prototypes they explained to me. From there, we participated in camping events hosted by Paago Works and ran together in group runs, and we were able to get our ideas in line with each other's ideas.

And now, more than two years after the initial idea, we have finally released the collaboration item, the original TANNUKI color of [RUSH10].

-Design
Construction/design is the same with the original RUSH10. The rounding shape makes you feel as if you are carrying a round raccoon on your back. Also, when you look at it from the front, it looks somewhat similar to the font letter U of the TANNUKI brand.

The base color is unified in brown. Running backpacks are often black or gray, and even if they come in color, they tend to be blue or red. The chic brown goes very well with a calm outfit. The original TANNUKI font also adds an accent.

The right side has a Pargo Works name tag, and the left side has a TANNUKI name with a raccoon silhouette.

The design of the backpack is full of Pargo Works' technology, backed by numerous prototypes. It is simple and easy to match, and the design is focused on ease of use as a running backpack. The keyword that Pargo Works uses is "simple and friendly," and we think this is also a good match for the TANNUKI brand.

> Shoulder adjuster
Infinitely adjustable shoulder harness designed to fit runners of various body types. It contains foam that is gentle on the shoulders.

> Chest strap
Two chest straps, one on the top and one on the bottom, enhance the sense of unity with the pack. It uses a buckle with a whistle for emergency use.

> Bottle pocket
The upper part of the harness has a pocket that can store a 500cc bottle, and the bottle can be held in place by a drawstring.
