ちょうど良いサイズ感で人気のチェスカボディを使ったグラフィックTシャツです。
グラフィックはマドリッド在住のランナーでアーチストのアルマンドさんに描いてもらいました。彼の作品には大地や自然を感じさせる色合いの抽象画が多く、その色合いはTANNUKIの色合いにどこか通じるところがあります。

アルマンドさんは、様々な国で個展を開いたり、旅行をしたりしていますが、街を知るのにランニングがとても良いツールになると話してくれました。また作品を作ることと走ることは、まずは自分を自分でコントロールしない”フロー”の状態に置いてから、その後に対峙していくアプローチ部分に共通点があるとのことでした。

そんなアルマンドさんが描いてくれたタヌキモチーフです。愛嬌もあって、静かさもあって、美しさもある、ある意味でラン用のＴシャツには見えない、とても良いグラフィックです。

生地は軽さもありストレッチ性もある吸水速乾素材ですが、あえてクラシックな雰囲気を持つ素材をチョイスしました。その風合いからスポーツウェアらしい匂いが極力抑えられていますが、しっかりとアクティビティに使用できる機能性を発揮します。

アルマンドさんのグラフィックを前面に配置しました。オリジナルのタヌキモチーフにTANNUKIの文字、そして作家のサインを一体化してグラフィックとしています。写真にもありますがグラフィックを描いてもらうにあたってはいくつかの習作を描いてくれています。その習作の段階からとても素敵な作品になっているのがわかります。ランナーでありアーチストである彼の作品をぜひ楽しんでいただければと思います。

左裾にはTANNUKIの一つの特徴でもあるポケットが付き、中には３匹のタヌキが潜んでいます。



ボディは、タックインしてもタックアウトしても良い感じのバランスとなっている、ほどよいシルエットを目指したチェスカタイプです。TANNUKIの製品においては、やはりシリアスになりすぎるような細身のシルエットは避けたいところ。普段の生活の延長線上で着てもらいたいという思いがあります。決して細みではなく、しっかりとゆとりがあります。街でのどんなシーンとも馴染みが良く、一方でバランスの良い分量感でランニングザックとの相性も悪くありません。アルマンドさんのグラフィックとも相性が良いボディとなっています。

This graphic T-shirt features the popular "Chesca" body, known for its perfectly balanced fit.
The graphic was created by Armando, a runner and artist based in Madrid. His work often features abstract paintings with color palettes that evoke the earth and nature—tones that resonate with the aesthetic of TANNUKI.

Armando travels the world and holds solo exhibitions, and he has shared that running is an excellent way to get to know a city. He also noted a commonality between creating art and running: both involve an approach where one first enters a "flow" state—letting go of conscious control—before engaging with the task at hand.

The "Tanuki" (raccoon dog) motif was drawn by Armando himself. It possesses charm, a sense of tranquility, and beauty; in a way, it is such a striking graphic that it hardly looks like a typical running shirt.

The fabric is a lightweight, stretchy, moisture-wicking, and quick-drying material, yet we deliberately chose a texture with a classic feel. This texture minimizes the typical "sportswear" look while delivering the high functionality needed for active use.

Armando’s graphic is placed on the front. The design integrates the original Tanuki motif, the "TANNUKI" text, and the artist's signature into a graphic. As shown in the photos, he created several preliminary sketches before finalizing the design; even in those early stages, the work was already wonderful. We hope you enjoy the art of this talented runner-artist.

The left hem features a signature TANNUKI detail: a pocket with three hidden Tanuki characters inside.
