アンダンテとは、音楽用語のテンポを表す言葉で「ほどよく、ゆっくりと」という意味です。
アレグロやプレストなどという言葉も耳にしたことがあるかもしれません、それらはどちらかというと速いテンポを表していまして、一方でこちらのアンダンテは歩くかのようなゆっくりさという意味となっています。
TANNUKIの新たなシグネチャーモデルのアンダンテシリーズは、ほどよくゆっくりと、走ったり（何なら歩いたり）する為のウェアとして開発をいたしました。歴代のアイテムの中でも、アウトドアと日常の間において、もっともシームレスに活用いただけるアイテムとなっています。

強いストレッチ性を持ち、かつ軽量の、リラックス感のあるショーツです。
形が良く、ランにもハイクにもデイリーウェアとしてもとても使い勝手の良いアイテムとなっています。

素材は今回新たに採用した、（見た目にはわかりませんが）繊維がバネ形状となっているポリエステル100％素材です。一番の特徴は、軽さとストレッチ性の両立にあります。とても軽い着心地で、かつしっかりとストレッチし動きやすさを発揮します。また撥水加工が施されており、汚れもつきにくく、小雨なんかはしっかりと弾きます。一方で風合いには、コットンを思わせるナチュラルさがあり、山にも街にもスッと馴染みます。

ーデザイン
ややワイド目なシルエットのショートパンツです。ボックス型のデザインで、股上はやや深め、膝上くらいの使いやすい丈感となっています。

フロントにある大型ポケットがデザインのポイントです。上から出し入れする仕様で、なんでもぽんぽんと収納できます。アイレットがついており、トレイルランナーがみんな大好きな夏場の【ドボン】時に効果を発揮することと思います。
後部には右側にパッチポケットがつき、中央にはジッパー付きポケットが付きます。ジッパー付きの方は、携帯電話や貴重品を収納するのにも便利ですし、またパッカブル仕様となっていまして、携帯性を高めます。
U型のロゴが控えめに左下に配置されます。シンプルなデザインで、コーディネートしやすくデイリーユースにも馴染みが良いです。

ウエストはシャーリングとドローコードを組み合わせた仕様となっています。

トレイルでも日常でも旅に持っていくのにも、軽い着心地の毎日使えるボックス型ショーツとなっています。

ー　素材
従来、素材にストレッチ性を持たせるためには、繊維自体が伸びる性質を持つポリウレタンを使うことが多かったです。その伸縮性においてポリウレタンは優れた素材なのですが、基本的に、【重い】ことも特徴の一つで、機能的な弱点となっています。一方でポリエステル素材の多くは、基本的な軽量さを持っていますが、伸縮性は持ちません。今回採用した素材は、バネような、らせん状の構造を持つ分子をベースとするポリエステルで作られており、ストレッチ性と軽量性の両立がついに実現された素材となっています。
そして、こちらのストレッチ、伸びるのはもちろん伸びるのですが、伸びた後にしっかりと戻る（キックバックと言います）のも大きな特徴です。伸びっぱなしでなく、しっかりと戻る。折り目正しい感じです。
この他にポリエステルが本来持つ特徴である、取り扱いのしやすさ（ご家庭での洗濯ももちろん可能です）や速乾性も併せ持ちます。更には、後から加工を施すことで、水を弾く撥水性も持つスーパー機能素材となっています。

そして、この素材がもう一つ優れているところが、そのスーパー機能性を表に出さないところにあります。多機能化繊素材でありながら、ナチュラルな顔をして、さらっとどこにでも馴染む感じ。とても多くの機能を有しているようには見えません。
その自然に馴染む風合いが、リラックスショーツという服種ともとても相性が良く、トレイルでも街でも違和感なくお使いいただけるアイテムとなっています。

組織の部分では、二重織という、表と裏で異なる組織が出てくる形で作られており、肌面に凹凸を生み出しているため、肌離れがよく、さらっとした着心地を生み出しています。
更にはUVカット効果で日焼け対策としても活用できます。

Andante is a musical term for tempo, meaning “moderate or slow.
You may have heard the words “allegro” and “presto,” which describe a rather fast tempo, while “andante” here means slow as if you were walking.
TANNUKI's new signature model, the Andante series, was developed as clothing for running (or walking, if you prefer) at a moderately slow pace. Of all the previous generations of TANNUKI Andante series, this series is the most seamless between outdoor activities and daily life.

These shorts are stretchy, lightweight, and relaxed.
The shape of the shorts makes them very usable as daily wear, for running, hiking, or just for everyday wear.

The material used this time is a newly adopted 100% polyester material whose fibers have a spring shape (although it does not look like it). The most distinctive feature of this material is that it is both lightweight and stretchable. It is very lightweight and comfortable, yet stretchable and easy to move around in. It also has a water-repellent finish that resists stains and light rain. On the other hand, the texture has a natural feel reminiscent of cotton, and it blends in easily both in the mountains and in town.

- Design
These shorts have a slightly wide silhouette. They have a boxy design, a slightly deeper inseam, and an easy-to-use length just above the knee.

The large front pocket is a key design feature. The pockets are designed to be taken in and out from the top, and can hold anything you need. It has eyelets, which will be effective in the summer when trail runners love to “doppelganger” in the summer.
The rear has a patch pocket on the right side and a zippered pocket in the center. The zippered one is convenient for storing cell phones and valuables, and it is also packable, enhancing portability.
The U-shaped logo is discreetly placed on the lower left. The simple design makes it easy to coordinate and fit in well with daily use.

The waist is designed with a combination of shirring and drawcord.

These boxy shorts are lightweight, comfortable, and can be used every day on the trail, in everyday life, or for travel.

- Material
Traditionally, polyurethane, which has the property of stretching as a fiber itself, has been used to give stretchiness to materials. Polyurethane is an excellent material in terms of its elasticity, but it is also basically characterized by its heaviness, which is a functional weakness. On the other hand, most polyester materials are basically lightweight, but do not have elasticity. The material we have adopted this time is made of polyester based on molecules with a spring-like, helical structure, and it is a material that finally achieves both stretchability and light weight.
The stretchy material stretches, of course, but its major feature is that it returns firmly after stretching (called “kickback”). It does not remain stretched, but returns firmly. It feels like a fold.
In addition to this, polyester is easy to handle (it can be washed at home, of course) and dries quickly, which are inherent characteristics of polyester. Furthermore, it is a super functional material that can be treated afterwards to make it water repellent.

Another outstanding feature of this material is that it does not reveal its super-functionality. Although it is a multifunctional synthetic fiber material, it has a natural look and feels at home anywhere. It does not look like it has many functions.
The natural texture of the material goes well with relaxed shorts, making it an item that can be used both on the trail and in town without any discomfort.

The double weave structure, in which the front and back sides of the fabric have different textures, creates an uneven surface on the skin, which makes the fabric feel comfortable and light on the skin.
Furthermore, its UV-blocking effect can be used as a sun protection measure.
